Nakatsugawa (Japanese中 津 川 市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Gifu.
History
Nakatsugawa was a post station (宿 场 町Shukuba -machi ) of Nakasendō during the Edo period. The city Nakatsugawa was founded on April 1, 1952.

Nakatsugawa located northeast of Nagoya. The river Kiso flows through the city from northeast to southwest.
