Nakhimov Raion

The Nakhimov Raion (Ukrainian Нахімовський район / rayon Nachimowskyj; Russian Нахимовский район / Nachimowski rayon ) is an administrative unit in the south of Ukraine and part of the city of Sevastopol. The name of the Rajons goes back to the Russian Admiral Pavel Stepanovich Nakhimov.

The Rajon was taken on April 24, 1957 by the union of Rajone Piwnitschnyj (north) and Korabelna.
