Bahnhof Nakhon Ratchasima ( Thai: สถานี รถไฟ นครราชสีมา, pronunciation: [ ni ː ː satellite ʰ ǎ rót.fai Nak ʰ ɔ ː n ː ma ː asǐ râtt͡ɕ ʰ ] ) is the main station of Nakhon Ratchasima, the capital of the province of Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand. The station is located in the west of the city.

History

The station was opened on 11 November 1900, the station name Korat as a railhead and end of the then standard gauge railway between Bangkok - Nakhon Ratchasima. The official opening ceremony took King Chulalongkorn ago on 21 December 1900. In 1922 the facilities of the station were umgespurt along with the track on meter gauge, put the extension of the line to Ubon Ratchathani in operation at the end of the same year and the train station so that a through station.

1934, the station was renamed in Nakhon Ratchasima. During the Second World War it was destroyed, opened the new reception building on 24 June 1955.

The station is now operational branch railway station for the routes to Ubon Ratchathani and Nong Khai, although the routes to separate only in 3 km east of Thanon Chira Junction Railway Station located. The station is served daily from 18 passenger trains.
