Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy

N. Kiran Kumar Reddy ( Kiran Kumar Reddy Nallari, Telugu: నల్లారి కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి Nallāri Kiran Kumar Reddi; * September 13, 1960 in Hyderabad ) is an Indian politician. He was from November 2010 to February 2014 for the Congress Party Chief Minister ( head of government) of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Life

N. Kiran Kumar Reddy was born on September 13, 1960 in Hyderabad. He belongs to the in Andhra Pradesh socially and politically influential caste of Reddy. Kiran Kumar Reddy is the son of N. Amarnath Reddy, who in the Congress Party was also politically active and 1978-1982 Minister in the government of Andhra Pradesh. The family comes from the district of Chittoor in Rayalaseema region of southern Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy but grew up in the capital, Hyderabad. He completed his education with a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the Nizam College and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Osmania University in Hyderabad.

N. Kiran Kumar Reddy's political career began in 1989 when he was elected as a candidate of the Congress Party in the parliament of the state of Andhra Pradesh. He represented the constituency Vayalpadu in the home region of his family. At the next election in 1994, he lost his constituency, was in 1999 but recover and defend it in 2004. Under the Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, he served from 2004 to 2009 as Chief Whip. In the 2009 election Kiran Kumar Reddy joined successfully in the constituency Pileru, which in the course of the reorganization of constituencies his old constituency Vayalpadu had been affiliated. After the election, he took over the post of parliamentary speaker. After Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had come 2 September 2009 in a helicopter crash killed K. In N. Kiran Kumar Reddy's tenure, the protracted political controversy fell to the creation of the state of Telangana from the Northwest region of Andhra Pradesh. Like most politicians from residual Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy opposed the division of the state. He was in conflict with the All-India Congress leadership that drove the creation Telanganas.
