Naltar-Pass

The Naltar Pass is a high mountain pass, with a summit elevation of 4600 meters in Gilgit -Baltistan in northern Pakistan in Gilgit district. The pass is located in the north of Shani Peak in Naltar Valley, and can only be committed. Shani is the starting point for Naltar Pass, the gateway to Ishkoman Valley. To the west of Naltar Pass is the Chaprot Pass and east of the Hayal Pass.

In Naltar Valley is the Naltar Lake, from which springs from the Naltar River. In this high valley that wander through tourists and locals on treks, there are wild mountain goats, ibex, markhor and other animals of the region.
