Nam Kliang District

Amphoe Nam Kliang ( in Thai อำเภอ น้ำ เกลี้ยง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Si Saket. The Si Saket province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Nam Kliang borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe to the Kanthararom, Non Khun, Benchalak, Si Rattana, Phayu and Mueang Si Saket. All Amphoe located in the province of Si Saket.

History

Nam Kliang was born on January 7, 1986 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Nam Kliang, La -o, Tong Pit and Khoen were separated from Amphoe Kanthararom. On Jul 4th 1994, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Nam Kliang is ( tambon) divided into six municipalities, which in turn in 75 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

In addition, there are six " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
