Namco System 12

The Namco System 12 is a developed by Namco arcade system board, which came on the market in 1996. The hardware is based - as well as the system 11 - on the Sony Playstation. Compared with the previous some changes have been made to improve performance. The ROMs with the game contents are soldered directly to the PCB, and therefore can not be replaced, as in other systems ( Atomiswave, Sega NAOMI ) is the case.
