Miklagard (also Miklagård; Norse Miklagarðr " Big City ", icelandic Mikligardur ) is the name of West Norse for Konstantin Opel ( Byzantium ) that one finds on rune stones in many texts of Scandinavian history. Scandinavian distributor of the Early and High Middle Ages, often led trading voyages on the Russian trading posts on Lake Ladoga and the continuous flows towards the Black Sea to Constantinople Opel.
