Namika Lahti

Namika Lahti is a Finnish basketball club from Lahti. He was twice Finnish basketball champion and Cup winner three times.

History

The club was founded in 1898 in Vyborg in 1947 and moved to Lahti.

Namika has played 33 seasons in the highest Finnish basketball league, the Korisliiga. This one is an integral part of this league.

The club won the championship in 2000 and 2009 and in 1996, 2002, 2004 and 2007 runner-up. In addition, four times the Finnish Cup could be won.

At the European level Namika Lahti took from 1994 to 2001 permanently in competitions, the Korać Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup, in part. There different times from each early.

Hall

The club plays its home games in places of 1,500 Lahti from Urheilutalo.
