Nana Attakora
Nana Attakora - Gyan ( born March 27, 1989 in Toronto (North York), Ontario ) is a Canadian soccer player.
Career
Youth and College
Attakora attended the Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon, Ontario. He later moved to York University, where he played college soccer. Then played for the Brampton East and was invited to the National Training Centre in Ontario.
Toronto FC
In the summer of 2007 Attakora - Gyan trained with Everton FC, before he signed with the newly formed MLS team Toronto FC. He came in his debut season but only for the reserve team in the MLS Reserve Division for use.
After his pro debut on May 31, 2008, compared LA Galaxy followed four more season bets. Since 2009, the applicable law and as central defender Attakora occur regularly inserts and won with the Toronto Canadian Championship 2009, the Canadian qualifying tournament for the CONCACAF Champions League. From the Canadian Football Federation, he was awarded as a U -20 player of the years 2008 and 2009.
SJ Earthquakes
On July 14, 2011 Attakora was part of the trade by Alan Gordon and Jacob Peterson, between the San Jose Earthquakes and Toronto FC.
National
Canadian youth teams representing Attakora - Gyan since 2004. 2007 he was part of the squad at the Junior World Cup in their own country, when the Canadian U -20 team scoreless point and was eliminated in the group stage. On 31 January 2010, he was in a friendly against Jamaica his debut in the Canadian national team.
