Nance County, Nebraska

Nance County is a county located in the state of Nebraska in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat), Fullerton, which was named after Randall Fuller, an early settler in the area.

Geography

The County is located in east-central Nebraska and has an area of 1160 square kilometers, of which 17 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Platte County, Merrick County, Greeley County and Boone County.

History

Nance County was formed in 1879. It was named after the Governor Albinus Nance.
