Nang County

Nang ( Tibetan: སྣང་རྫོང་, Nang Dzong, according to Wylie transliteration: rdzong snang, Chinese朗 县, Pinyin: . Lǎng Xiàn ) is a county of the district of Nyingchi of Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China on the middle Yarlung Tsangpo, which until 1985 belonged to the governmental district Shannan. It has an area of 4113.71 square kilometers and has about 10,000 inhabitants (2003 ). Its main town is the large village Nang朗 镇

The Lieshan Tombs (Chinese: Lieshan mudi ) from the 7th to the 9th century, tombs of the time of the Yarlung Dynasty, are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5-181 ) since 2001.
