Nannestad

Nannestad is a commune in the province (county ) Akershus in Norway.

The municipality consists of large agricultural areas and abundance of forest, which is also the local 's economic life.

Nannestad located in the northwestern part of Øvre Romerike and is bordered to the north by Hurdal, on the northeast by Eidsvoll, to the east by Ullensaker, to the south and to the west by Gjerdrum Nittedal. All of these places are located in the province of Akershus. In addition Nannestad borders Lunner and Gran in the province of Oppland.

The community consists of four parishes - from south to north are the Holter, Nannestad, Maura and Stensgård. The highest point is 720 m of Marifjell in the parish Maura.
