Nantawat Tansopa
Nantawat Thaensopa ( Thai: นันท วั ฒ น์ แทน โสภา, born 22 February 1984 in Maha Sarakham ) is a Thai football player who plays in the Thai Premier League for Police United.
Career
He began his career at his boyhood club, FC Royal Thai Police. He played for the club until 2007 and rose with him in 2006 in the Premier League. In 2007 he moved to FC Krung Thai Bank. Nantawat was with the club vice- champion in 2007 and played in the 2008 AFC Champions League. At the end of the Champions League season Nantawat was top scorer. This was before even any player from Thailand. Overall, he scored 9 goals in this competition. He shot it in the group match against Beijing Guoan Four of his goals. Already in the first leg against this club he managed to score a goal. In the game against ĐPM Nam Định on April 9, 2008, he already scored a hat-trick. After the Krung Thai bank stopped the operation of gambling, the squad was taken over by Bangkok Glass FC. For the club he played for another year before he moved to his old club and Movers Police United in 2010.
