Naoko Kijimuta

Naoko Kijimuta (Japanese雉 子 牟 田 直 子, Kijimuta Naoko, born March 26, 1972 in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese tennis player.

Career

Naoko Kijimutas professional tennis career lasted from 1991 to 1998. During this time she won on the WTA tour in women's doubles five tournaments. On ITF level, they also took and double five titles. In individual, the Japanese reached rank 44 in singles and 18 in doubles ranking (both 1997), their best finish in the women's world rankings. Her older sister Akiko was also in professional tennis active.
