Naomie Harris
Naomie Melanie Harris ( born September 6, 1976 in London) is a British actress of Jamaican descent. Notoriety she received 28 days later by the film, as Tia Dalma in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, and as Eve Moneypenny in the James Bond 007 - Skyfall.
Life
Naomie Harris is the daughter of screenwriter Lisselle Kayla, a Jamaican. She grew up in her native London with her single mother. Harris studied at Pembroke College, Cambridge Social and Political Sciences. Then she trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School as an actress. She is a Buddhist.
Harris played as a child and young people in film and television projects, but then took a break for their studies. In 2002, she gained notoriety with the apocalyptic horror film 28 Days Later directed by Danny Boyle.
