Napoléon Henri Reber

Napoléon Henri Reber - ( born October 21, 1807 in Mulhouse / Alsace, † 24 November 1880 in Paris) was a French composer.

Napoléon Henri Reber - was a student of Antonín Rejcha and Jean -François Lesueur at the Paris Conservatory. Here he taught since 1851, harmony and composition since 1862.

Reber has composed five operas and the ballet The enamored devil, four symphonies and an orchestral suite, the cantata Roland, chamber music, songs, vocalise, choirs and sacred vocal music.
