NAS Award in Mathematics

The National Academy of Sciences Award in Mathematics (NAS Award in Mathematics ) is a of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States since 1988 at four- year intervals award science prize in the field of mathematics. The award is based on outstanding science achievements of each of the previous ten years. The award was sponsored by the American Mathematical Society on the occasion of its centenary and is (as of 2012) with U.S. $ 5,000 prize.
