Nasalis muscle

The muscle can be divided into two parts:

  • The transverse part arises from the upper jaw, above and lateral to the incisive fossa. His muscle pull upwards and inwards and shine in the aponeurosis of the procerus muscle and thus into the skin of the nose, where they meet with the fibers of the other side.
  • The wing part runs between the alar cartilage and skin of the nose.
