Nashenas

Nashenas also Nashnaz or Nashinas ( Pashto: ناشناس ) - actually Dr. Sadeq Fitrat ( صادق فطرت ) (* in Kandahar ) is one of the most popular Afghan singer from the people of the Pashtuns.

Biography

Nashenas comes from a Pashtun Kakarstamm - which the Musazay. As a teenager, he developed a keen interest in music. In the early 1970s he traveled to the Soviet Union, where he studied literature in Moscow.

Artist Name

Due to financial constraints of the family he was forbidden to sing, so he called himself ( The stranger ) in his first songs in Radio Kabul Nashenas. Although he is a native Afghan, he is very popular among Pakistani Pashtuns.
