Life

She was born as the youngest daughter of Sergei Alexandrovich Scheremetjewski and his wife Julia Vladislavovna. Her father worked as a lawyer in Moscow and was a member of the state of the nobility, but her nobility was of little importance. In their first years of life Natascha grew up in a middle-class well.

Natasha was married three times. In 1902 she married the pianist Sergei Mamontov, with whom she had a daughter, Natalia Mamontowna ( born June 2, 1903 † 1969), called Tata. After her divorce she married an officer in the imperial bodyguard. In 1905, Natasha became the wife of Lieutenant Vladimir Wulfert. The marriage remained childless. By her second husband she met her future third husband know, the Grand Duke Michael of Russia. Your illegitimate son George Mikhailovich Brassow was born on 24 July 1910. Natasha and the Grand Duke secretly married in Vienna on 16 October 1912 in an orthodox church.

After the Russian Revolution, Natasha was able to escape before the Bolsheviks and lived first in England and later in Paris. She died penniless in a Paris hospital from the effects of cancer.
