Natalie Coughlin

Natalie Coughlin ( born August 23, 1982 in Vallejo, California) is an American swimmer.

Career

Originally Coughlin is from Concord. The psychology student at the University of California, Berkeley is one of the best back swimmers in the world. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she won two gold medals: 100m backstroke and the American 4 × 200 meters freestyle relay. In addition to two other relay silver medals they could also over 100m freestyle win the bronze medal and was with five medals in Athens one of the most successful American athletes.
