Natalie Geisenberger

Geisenberger ( born February 5, 1988 in Munich) is a German luger. It was double Olympic champion at the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.

On January 20, 2007 Geisen Berger denied her first World Cup race in Altenberg and immediately reached the second place. This secured her a nomination for the World Cup in Igls, when she surprised with fourth place. The highlights of her career at junior level were the Junior World Championships in 2004 in Calgary and 2007 in Cesana, where they each won both the team and competing at the junior gold. Geisenberger starts for the ASV rotten creek. German champion it was the first time in 2007. Their career so far is crowned by the European title in 2008 in Cesana and Vice World Champion title in 2008 in Oberhof and 2009 in Lake Placid. You received in 2008, together with Felix Loch of the Bavarian sports award in the category " Outstanding (r ) Young Athletes / in ". On December 14, 2008, she won her first World Cup victory in Winterberg. On February 16, 2010 Geisen Berger won at the Olympics in Vancouver in single-seater bronze. At the World Cup 2013 in Whistler, she won both the individual and in the team relay title. With wins in six of the nine World Cup races she won in the 2012/2013 season for the first time the World Cup.

On 10 and on February 11, 2014 Geisen Berger was in the individual race at the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi Olympic champion. She won all four runs with a total lead of over a second, the second- biggest lead of the story. She was again on February 13, 2014 along with the single-seater driver Felix Loch and the two-seat riders Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt in the Team Relay Olympic champion.

Private

In January 2006, she was hired as police chief contender at the federal police sports school in Bad Endorf, 9 September 2010 followed by passing the examination, the appointment to the police champion and after the 2014 Winter Olympics to the police top champion.
