Natalie Imbruglia
Natalie Jane Imbruglia ( born February 4, 1975 in Sydney ) is an Australian singer-songwriter, actress and model. International Imbruglia was known to the published in autumn 1997 song Torn ( voiced by the band Ednaswap ) and the associated album Left of the Middle. She is the older sister of Laura Imbruglia, who is also a singer.
Life
Imbruglia grew up in the small, close this seaside town of Berkeley Vale (north of Sydney ) on the Australian state of New South Wales. Her father Elliot Imbruglia is an Italian immigrant from the island of Lipari, her mother Maxene Anderson is a native Australian. Natalie is the second oldest of four sisters.
Imbruglia was in 2003 with Daniel Johns, lead singer of the band Silverchair and The Dissociatives, married. Early January 2008, their failed marriage.
Career
Just as with Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue Imbruglia first played from 1991, a role in the Australian soap opera Neighbours ( Neighbours ).
Buoyed by their success in the series started Imbruglia 1997, a career as a singer. Their first single Torn in 1997 reached # 2 on the UK Singles Chart in November. Their debut album Left of the Middle sold in the UK alone over a million copies and contained with Big Mistake and Smoke ( both 1998), two more Top Ten hits.
2001 follow-up album White Lilies Iceland, despite the radio -friendly singles, such as That Day (2001), Wrong Impression ( 2002), and Beauty on the Fire ( 2002) appeared lagged behind sales of the successful debuts.
Imbruglia began her acting career in 2002 and continued playing alongside Rowan Atkinson in the British spy spoof Johnny English. In addition, she worked as a model for the French cosmetics company L' Oréal.
Another top ten success in the British charts for them - In March 2005 the single Shiver appeared. Your subsequently published in April, third album Counting Down the Days made the leap to number 1 on the UK album charts.
In September 2007, a greatest hits album was released, entitled Glorious: The Singles 1997-2007, which contains five new songs. The first single from it was the re-recorded song Glorious, which was published in August 2007 in Australia and in September in Germany. In autumn 2009, they released their fourth studio album, which is titled Come to Life in Britain.
