Natalya Kovtun

Natalya Nikolaevna Kovtun (Russian Наталья Николаевна Ковтун, English transcription Natalya Kovtun, . Born May 27, 1964) is a former Russian sprinter.

Starting for the Soviet Union, she won the 200m bronze at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest in 1989 and silver at the European Indoor Championships in 1990 in Glasgow.

At the World Athletics Championships in 1991 she won with the Russian team silver in the 4 x 100 - meter relay and reached about 100 m the semi-finals.

In 1989, she was Soviet Halle champion in 60 m and 200 m. After their active time she was a trainer, among other things, it serves Svetlana Nabokina.
