Natasha Bedingfield

Natasha Anne Bedingfield (* November 26, 1981 in Haywards Heath ) is a British singer and songwriter.

Life

Natasha Bedingfield comes from Lewisham ( London). Her parents had emigrated from New Zealand to England. She has three siblings: sister Nikola and the brothers Daniel and Joshua. As a teenager she founded with Daniel and Nikola, the group DNA Algorithm. This experimented with many different types of music, including R & B and garage rock, and also played at services. Natasha Bedingfield is a member of Hillsong Church in London, for which she has written some songs. After leaving school, she took a degree in psychology, which, however, dropped out after two years to concentrate on her career as a singer.

Natasha Bedingfield is married to American filmmaker Matt Robinson since 21 March 2009.

Career

In May 2004, appeared Bedingfield's first single, single, the number three which went straight into the UK charts. With the follow-up single These Words they landed in August 2004 at number one on the UK Singles Charts and held that position for two weeks. In the German single charts These Words reached number two for a week.

In 2005, she played as a 3D character in the video game From Russia with Love, a daughter of ambassador.

In collaboration with the producer Andy Frampton, Steve Kipner and Mark Stent Album Unwritten, on which also the rapper Bizarre is heard from Eminem's band D12 was born. In the first week after release, the album reached number one on the UK album charts. In the German album charts it entered the Top 20

In May 2007, Bedingfield's second album appeared Natasha Bedingfield, or just NB. The album was also placed in the British top ten. In Germany there was only ranked 80th The first single I Wanna Have Your Babies could not repeat the success of Bedingfield's first singles, they could be placed in the German single charts only in the Top 40. In the UK, the single went to number seven. On 1 July 2007 before 63,000 spectators took Bedingfield at the Concert for Diana in honor of the tenth anniversary of the death of Princess Diana at London's Wembley Stadium part.

The second single from the album Soulmate, published in August 2007, also reached number seven in the UK Singles Chart. In Germany, the single peaked at number twelve, is so Bedingfield's second most successful single in Germany. The single sold over 120,000 units in Germany alone.

In January 2008, Bedingfield released third album Pocketful of Sunshine in the USA. End of March 2008 appeared in Germany her song Love Like This, a duet with singer Sean Kingston. The single was also placed in the Top 40 in the German single charts.

In 2011, Bedingfield Jet Lag on the single along with Simple Plan for their fourth studio album.
