Natasha Yarovenko

Natasha Yarovenko (Russian Наташа Яровенко; born July 23, 1979 in Odessa) is a Ukrainian actress.

Life and career

Natasha Yarovenko was born in 1979 in the nearby Black Sea Ukrainian port city of Odessa. She is the daughter of a Russian mother and a Ukrainian father who was an engineer by profession. She studied Russian-English at the University of Odessa. After graduating, she decided to emigrate with her family to Spain and settled in Barcelona 2000. According to Natasha Yarovenko she felt at ease straight away, because it reminds Barcelona regarding everyday life in her hometown of Odessa.

First, Natasha Yarovenko worked at a Catalan television station. In 2003 she received her first role in the TV movie La Dona de gel and played in several Spanish television series with. She was depicted on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine. In the German-speaking world it was known by the role of Natasha in the film drama A Night in Rome ( Habitación en Roma) from the year 2010, in which she is seduced shortly before her wedding by another woman, a chance encounter, a shared love night. This role brought her a nomination at the 2011 Spanish film award Goya for Best Young Actress.
