Nate Archibald

Nathaniel Archibald ( born September 2, 1948 in New York City ) is a retired American professional basketball player. Between 1970 and 1984 he played in the NBA for the Cincinnati Royals teams / Kansas City Kings, New York Nets, Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. Archibald was 1.83 m tall and played on the position of point guard. He was the first and only player who could lead the NBA in both the points, as well as the Fit in a season. This feat he managed in the season 1972-1973, when he scored 34 points and 11.4 assists per game on average. Archibald was appointed during his career in the NBA three-time All- NBA First Team ( 1973,1975,1976 ). In addition, he was elected six times in an NBA All-Star team, where he was appointed a time (1981 ) the MVP of the All- Star Games. In the same year (1981 ) he won his only championship with the Boston Celtics. Archibald was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1991.
