Nate Thayer

Nate Thayer (* April 21, 1960 ) is an American journalist, co-workers, among others, for the Associated Press, " Jane's Defence Weekly," Washington Post, " Phnom Penh Post " and " Far Eastern Economic Review ".

Life

Thayer made ​​in July 1997 worldwide headlines when he reported exclusively on the " People's Tribunal " of the Khmer Rouge against Pol Pot in the jungles of northern Cambodia. Thayer was then only together with cinematographer David McKaige foreign eyewitness to the conviction of former ruler to life imprisonment.
