Nathalie Dechy

Nathalie Dechy (born 21 February 1979 in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe ) is a former French tennis player.

Career

Her best Grand Slam result in singles she had in 2005 at the Australian Open by reaching the semifinals, where she defeated Lindsay Davenport in three sets. With Wera Swonarewa she won 2006 doubles tournament of the U.S. Open. In 2007, she successfully defended the title with her ​​former doubles partner Dinara Safina.
