Nathan Dempsey

Nathan Dempsey (born 14 July 1974 in Spruce Grove, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played during his active career, among other things for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League.

Career

As a junior he played with the Regina Pats in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League, among others, Jeff Friesen and Jeff Shantz. He was selected during the NHL Entry Draft in 1992 by the leaders of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the eleventh round at a total of 245 positions. As of 1993, the Leafs put him in their AHL farm team, the St. John 's Maple Leafs. In the season 1996/97 he made his NHL debut. By 2002, however, he came to Toronto only 48 missions.

He moved to the beginning of the 2002 /03 to the Chicago Blackhawks. There he could become the starting player, but his second season at the Los Angeles Kings was the end yet. During the player strikes in the 2004/05 season the links Sagittarius stood at the Berlin Polar Bears of the German Ice Hockey League contract.
