Nathan Marsters

Nathan Marsters ( born January 28, 1980 in Grimsby, Ontario, † June 8, 2009 in Hamilton, Ontario) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. NHL Entry Draft 2000, he was selected in the fifth round at 165th place by the Los Angeles Kings.

Career

The 1.93 m wide and 86 kg Marsters began in 2000 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, to play hockey. From the 2004/05 season he played with the Louisiana IceGators. Further stations were between 2005 and 2007, the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League, Augusta Lynx and Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL and the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League. This is followed by the jumping castle to Europe to the EC Graz 99ers. After that he moved on 31 January 2008 on the Krefeld Penguins in the German Hockey League.

Nathan Marsters came in June 2009 in a traffic accident in a suburb of Hamilton died after a reindeer cross the road and had run into his car.
