National Alliance Party (Papua New Guinea)

The National Alliance Party is a party in Papua New Guinea. It was founded in 1995 by Bernard Narokobi, Moi Avei, Bart Philemon and Masket Iangalio that Michael Somare demanded that take over the presidency of the party after he was sacked as leader of the Pangu Party. In the elections to the Parliament of Papua New Guinea in June 2002, she won 19 of 109 seats. As the largest party she was asked to form a government.
