Winner of the National Board of Review Award for Best Acting Ensemble ( Best Acting By An Ensemble ), which is awarded separately in addition to the prices for major, minor and junior performer.

Three times the prize was awarded to film productions that were later awarded the Oscar for best film of the year, while only Kevin Spacey ( The Usual Suspects ) were able to win the Academy Award of the award-winning actors.
