National Defense Authorization Act

The National Defense Authorization Act ( NDAA; German Authorization Act for national defense ) is a United States federal law that determines the budget of the U.S. Department of Defense ( DoD). The decision of the budget gets with this standard annual legislative acts and is the prerequisite for the budget of the U.S. armed forces. With the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, the military powers were extended to detain American citizens to military law and foreigners on suspicion indefinitely, if necessary by using simultaneously both the criminal and civil law may be overridden.
