National Democratic Union (Italy)
The Unione Nazionale Democrática ( " Democratic National Union ") was a coalition of liberal parties, which was built in view of the elections to the Italian Constituent Assembly in 1946. It consisted of the following parties:
- Partito Liberal Italiano ( PLI) ( " Liberal Party of Italy " )
- Partito Democratico del Lavoro (PDL ) ( " Democratic Party of Labour " )
- Unione Nazionale per la Ricostruzione, ( "National Union for the Reconstruction " ) by Francesco Saverio Nitti ( which in 1920 was Prime Minister of Italy from 23 June to 15 May 1919).
Later, smaller groupings occurred in:
- National Alliance Democrática della Libertà ( " Democratic Alliance of Freedom" ) by Arturo Labriola
- Movimento Internazionale Unitario ed anti Separately Paulista ( "National Uniform and Antiseparatistische movement " )
- Historic Party ( Italy)
- Past Liberal Party
