National Football League (India)
The National Football League ( NFL ), the highest division of the Indian football. It was founded in 1996 and replaced by the new I-League, founded in 2007. She stood under the umbrella organization of the All India Football Federation.

In the first season of the National Football League, the team Jagatjit Cotton & Textile Mills was known or in its short form JCT Mills Phagwara in Punjab from the first Indian football champions. In the third season of the National Football League, the league was again divided into two groups.
