National Library of Pakistan

The Pakistani National Library ( National Libary of Pakistan ) is located in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

The National Libary of Pakistan was opened by Moin Ahmad Qureshi on 24 August 1993. The library currently has about 130,000 books, 555 manuscripts, 45 microfilms, 845 magazines and about 135 journals.

The building has a floor area of about 150 x 34 meters, the total area of the library is about 15,600 m² on four floors. The offered surface of the library can be up to one million interpret books and has 500 jobs for readers.
