Museo Nacional de Arqueología de Bolivia is a Bolivian Museum in La Paz

The museum is dedicated to the pre-Columbian history of Bolivia before the European colonization of South America. Managed the museum by the Bolivian National Institute of Archaeology, which is part of the Bolivian Ministry of Culture. The museum objects such as ceramics, painted objects made ​​of stone, metal objects and carved sculptures will be shown.

The museum building was built according to a decree of the Bolivian President Bautista Saavedra on 22 May 1922. By 1959, the museum contained various fields of research and was designed by decision of Carlos Ponce Sanginés as the exclusive National Museum of Archaeology in Bolivia until 31 January 1960.
