National Normal University

The National Normal University was a teacher training college in Lebanon (Ohio ), USA.

History

In 1855 she first opened its doors as Southwestern State Normal College, before it was renamed in 1870 to the National Normal University. Alfred Holbrook was the first rector of this university, and remained during its existence largely one of its executives.

The college went bankrupt in 1895, until finally in 1917 the doors definitely closed.
