National Radio Hall of Fame
The Radio Hall of Fame, the official title of the National Radio Hall of Fame and Museum honors individuals and radio programs that have promoted the radio in the United States in a special way. It is part of the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, Illinois.
Members are nominated by a committee that was appointed by the President of the Museum of Broadcast Communications. The committee consists of radio - makers, researchers, journalists, etc. It provides a list of candidates together and sends them every year in May to vote to all members of the museum. The winners will be announced at the AGM in August.
The most prominent non- member is the famous but controversial presenter Howard Stern who, while often nominated, but not selected yet.
