The Natisone in Cividale del Friuli

The Natisone (Latin: Natiso; Friulian: Nadison; Slovenian: Nadiža ) is a 55 km long tributary of the Torre in Slovenia and Italy. He is the main tributary of the Torre over which the Natisone is connected to the Isonzo.

The Natisone springs on the Italian- Slovenian border by the confluence of the two source rivers Rio Bianco / Bela Nadiža and Rio Nero ( Crni Patok ) to 415 m above sea level. A. After he initially flows for a short distance by the Slovenian community Kobarid and then crosses the Italian municipalities Pulfero and Cividale del Friuli. In Trivignano Udinese he finally empties into the Torre.
