Native Son

Native Son is a 1940 published novel by Richard Wright, who is to be understood with its combination of autobiographical elements and emphasizing the constraints of social milieus in the tradition of the U.S. socio-critical novel of the 1920s and 1930s. Main character Bigger Thomas, a black man from a Chicago slum. He denies His life with the help of his instincts: Bigger Thomas lives in constant fear, distrust everyone and feels great hatred.
