Natrona County, Wyoming
Natrona County is a county located in the state of Wyoming in the United States. On 1 July 2005 69 799 inhabitants lived in the county. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Casper.
Geography
The county has an area of 13,923 square kilometers; of which 93 square kilometers of water. It is bordered clockwise to the counties: Johnson County, Converse County, Carbon County, Fremont County and Washakie County.
History
Natrona County was founded in 1888.

According to the census of 2000, there were 66 533 people in Natrona County. There were 26 819 households, and 17,754 families. The population density was 5 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 94.15 % White, 0.76 % African American, 1.03 % Native American, 0.42 % Asian, 0.04 % Pacific Islander residents from the and 1.92 % from other races groups; 1.68% were descended from two or more races. 4.90% percent of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Of the 26 819 households out of which 32.20 % have children under the age of 18 living with them. 51.40 % were married couples living together, 10.60% percent were single mothers, 33.80 % were non-families. 27.50% of all households and 9.40% had someone living alone at the age of 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.95 persons.
