Natthaphong Samana

Natthaphong Samana ( Thai: ณั ฐ พง ษ์์ สมณะ, born June 29, 1984, Chiang Mai ) is a Thai football player at the position of a defender. He plays for the FC Chonburi in the Thai Premier League.

Career

After spending the youth at his hometown club FC Chiang Mai, in 2004 he joined to Bangkok for Krung Thai Bank FC. With the club he was runner-up in 2007. He then moved to the Master, the Chonburi. With him he played in 2008 in the AFC Champions League, but he made ​​a total of five games. End of the season handed it again just for runners. In 2009 he takes with Chonburi in the AFC Cup.

Since 2007 Natthaphong is in the squad of the Thai national football team. With it, he took part in the final competition for Asian Cup 2007 and the ASEAN Football Championship 2008. He played almost all the games in qualifying for the World Cup 2010.
