Natural Bridge (Virginia)

The Natural Bridge ( Natural Bridge ) is a geological formation and a National Historic Landmark in Rockbridge County, Virginia, USA. The Natural Bridge is located near the Interstate 81 and the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Highway 11 leads directly over them.

The result is the Natural Bridge by erosion, which has left over time in the limestone of Cedar Creek, a tributary of the James River. With a height of 67 meters it spans 27 m. There are hotels and cabins ( cottages ) and shopping for tourists, where a sound and light show is offered in the evening in the immediate vicinity. Further features include the deepest caves in the eastern U.S. and a waxworks to everything.
