Natzschung

Natzschungtal between Rübenau and Rothenthal

The Natzschung, formerly known at its headwaters also wedge Bach, (Czech: Načetínský creek ) is a left tributary of the Floeha.

Course

It rises in the Czech Ore Mountains in the high moor Novodomské rašeliniště ( Seeheide ), flows through the Načetínský rybnik ( German: Thomas Pond), in a tributary of the Cerveny rybnik ( Red Pond ) opens. Your path continues northeast across Načetín ( Natzschung ) from where on it forms a natural border with Saxony.

The Načetínský rybnik ( Thomas Pond) was once used as a water reservoir for the hammer mills and saws in Načetín. In the summer he served as a bathroom. Significantly for the place was also the Jindřichoveský Potok (Gold Brunnenbach ), which springs one kilometer south of Jindřichova Ves ( Heinrichsdorf ) and flows north. He provided the village fresh water and has been used as an energy carrier in the Rauscher nail factory.

The border creek flowing past Kalek ( Kallich ). Opposite, on the German side is Rübenau with its hamlets Obernatzschung, Niedernatzschung and Einsiedel- Sensenhammer before coming beet Auer Bach pours from the west. On the Czech side opens Telčský Potok ( Töltzschbach ) on which formerly the village Gabrielahütten ( Gabrielle Elina Huť ) was located.

Between Rothenthal and Brandau the Natzschung turns north and ends after 16.5 km at the Saigerhütte Grünthal, southwest Olbernhau in the Floeha.
