Naujan, Oriental Mindoro

Naujan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro. It has 94 497 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ). Parts of the community are in the Lake Naujan National Park and on its southwestern border lies the Mount Halcon, the highest mountain in the island of Mindoro. The municipality is situated at the eastern entrance to the Isla Verde Street, this is considered a hot spot of biodiversity of marine life in the Philippines and worldwide.
