Naurath (Wald)

Naurath ( Forest) is a local and tourist town in the district of Trier -Saar castle in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hermes wedge. The municipality is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geographical location

The place above the valley of the Little Dhron is eleven kilometers south-east of Schweich, 13 km east of Trier. South of the town is the nature park Saar -Hunsrück. Naurath is connected to the running in the immediate vicinity Federal Highway 1 through the country road 148 via the junction Mehring.

Neighboring municipalities are Detzem, Büdlich, Wide, Schoenberg, communication and Mehring.
