Nausithous

Nausithous ( Ναυσίθοος ancient Greek ) In Greek mythology, king of the Phaeacians, a son of Poseidon and Periboea.

Nausithous was the first king of the Phaeacians, who still lived far to the north at that time, near the territory of the Cyclopes, which in turn pose a constant threat to the Phaeacians. Nausithous they therefore led to the island of Sharia, where they built their happy kingdom. His son is king Alkinoos, who received Odysseus friendly.
